Jewelry – Design
I was inspired by the transformations that mechanics can undertake and also from an architectural standpoint. I always was (and I still am) fascinated with mechanics and this was my intention to translate this in the language of jewelry. The necklace on the left side consists of the middle axe and three rotating parts. All three rotating parts consists of two different colored gemstones, on one side the red ruby and on the other side the blue-sandstone.
Using the rotating parts you can mix the two colors through this can create different impressions. The Jewelry on the right side is inspired by the architectural structure. At both bottom corners there are small ruby eyes fixed. In contrast to a clear body structure, the ruby corners are like rain drops hanging on grass leaves on a summer morning.
